Is there someone in your life that reminded you of Julia?
No, she was entirely made up. I really liked her as I writing her, though. She wasn't perfect, but she had a joy for life that I liked.
Do you feel Amy was to blame for Julia's death?
This may sound weird, but IMO, what I think doesn't matter because it's Amy's story, and she does feel like she should be blamed for what happened to Julia.
In school what "crowd" did you fit into?
I went to a very small high school, so I pretty much knew everyone!

I liked the author’s answer about her thoughts about her character’s blame.
The complexity of teenage girls and their relationships... every female reader will bring their history and judgement.

I adore Elizabeth Scott. I've read most of her books, but not this one. I just might have to pick it up. But my favorite is Perfect You. LOVE!
