My Review
Impressive! I was almost 1/2 way through Exile when I realized that this is a second in a series. I have to give it to the author for making things smooth and easy for those who have not read Aurelia, the first in the series. I never once felt like I didn't know which direction the characters were headed or felt left behind, I hate that when jumping in to a later part of a series. I kept thinking of The Princess Bride and Pheona from Shrek but with out all the comical joking or the ogre looks. Aurelia has the strength anyone should strive for.
The descriptions were superb, it gave just enough for me to hold on and pay attention too. I tend to wander when scenery comes into play. All the characters had their own voices and had a sense of direction. If you enjoy a bit of romance in your reads this is calling your name. I now have to go purchase Aurelia, Even though I don't feel I missed anything I bet I'd enjoy reading it from the start.
Surprising events and a love to be jealous over, I can see anyone enjoying Exile.

ooh, I like the sound of this book. I haven't read the first book, but good to know that you don't get confused because you don't know what happened in book one. ;)

I'm really picky when reading a series and always like to start at the beginning. I do have a copy of Aurelia that I still haven't read yet.
I love it when you read a novel like that and you realize you have more out there to read. I need to check out these books.
