Synopsis
They say that the cure for love will make me happy and safe forever. And I’ve always believed them.
Until now.
Now everything has changed. Now, I’d rather be infected with love for the tiniest sliver of a second than live a hundred years smothered by a lie.

I felt EXACTLY the same way about this book! I liked it, but there was just something missing. I did love how unique the story was though, and the ending was crazy and unpredictable. I'm looking forward to seeing what she does with the second book!
I've had this book since BEA last year and have just have not been able to get the desire to read it. I was looking forward to it then, but now I'm worried that I won't really get into it. I may try it just to see what this epic ending is that you mentioned. :)
I have the book so I guess I will find out for myself soon what I think :)
Aww shame that you didn't love it as much as you thought you would. OMG I know epic ending!
Sometimes our own expectations are more than they should be. Good review though- thanks for posting- sorry I haven't been around, had a lot of challenges.
Ha ha ha. For the first time ever, I think, we're opposite on a book. I loved the story and the characters--BETTER than Before I Fall--but the ending killed me. It just killed me. And I'm sure that's exactly what she was going for, but I was a little bitter. I felt better when I heard there was going to be a sequel, though. A little. LOL.
I'm actually in the middle of reading Delirium on my kindle. Had to send my kindle out to get it serviced, but I thought it was good so far. Hope it doesn't start going downhill for me.
I feel like one of the few bloggers who still have not read this yet. I will probably read it soon since I loved Before I Fall so much.
I just bought Before I Fall a few weeks ago, and haven't read it yet. I think everyone who has thought it was just about perfect. I also want to read this book, but am not rushing to do so. It sounds good, but also like it has some flaws which might make me upset. Thanks for the honesty in your review. It was much appreciated.
It's hard to love it when you don't connect with the characters. But I agree that this was good. Her writing is excellent. And actually the ending really ticked me off - not in a bad way. I just hated what happened. But, yes...epic!
